We have two national leauge sides both of which are progressing up the leagues. One team is in division 4 and the other team is in division 3.

NASSA Neptune’s Division 3 National League Men Win Sureshot National Shield 2012

NASSA Neptune’s Division 3 National League Men continues the run of success for the Newham boys as they also won in their game for the Sureshot Men’s National Shield 2012 against Loughborough Students Riders. The men fought a close point for point game against the Riders and the pressure was on the match the results of the U16. The Neptune’s had a slow start despite baskets from Tigan Mohammed, Anthony Okereafor and Jeff Danchie. They ended the first quarter training but by the end of the second quarter they had pulled back thanks to solid baskets from William Ashby, Perry Lawson and Ladi Brown and demonstrated that they were up to the challenge by scoring a number of three throws and pulling back close the gap.
The third and fourth quarter saw NASSA determined to maintain their lead despite a strong challenge from the Riders. Good baskets from Bruno Klavins, William Ashby, Chuckwuemaka Obanye and Jeff Danchie gave the NASSA Neptune’s a well deserved win with a final score of 73 baskets to 69
